It is never too soon to begin planning your next capital improvement project!

A core service of the Rural Community Assistance Program is helping communities with project development and funding, and educating them about their roles and responsibilities through the planning, design and construction phases of a major capital project. We help communities identify potential grant and low interest loan programs, determine their eligibility, develop funding strategies, prepare grant and loan applications, and lead them through the process of securing funding. We can also provide templates and training to communities about the qualifications based selection process to hire engineering consultants.

We leverage tens of millions of dollars every year for communities across the state.  Our consulting, training and grant writing services are free to water and sewer systems serving less than 10,000 people.  In most cases, we can also provide free assistance to larger rural water and sewer districts.
